This November 6–7, the Aspen Hotel in Manchester, Vermont welcomes readers and writers to the inaugural Bound & Branded Writers Retreat — an intimate literary weekend built on a simple idea: stories are better shared around a fire.

Unlike a traditional writers conference, this retreat is limited to just 20 guests, giving every participant meaningful time with published authors, fellow writers, and industry professionals in a relaxed mountain setting. There are no VIP sections or autograph lines, every guest is part of the experience.

Featured authors include Tracey Enerson Wood, bestselling fantasy author Laurie Forest, and young adult fantasy author and musician Mimi Cross.

Your weekend includes: author conversations, writing workshops, dedicated quiet writing sessions, community dinner and breakfast shared with the authors, and book signings throughout the weekend.

Attendance is limited to 20 guests and rooms are subject to availability; full payment is required at time of booking to secure your place. Cancellations received 14 or more days prior to arrival receive a full refund; cancellations within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable, though the reservation may be transferred to another guest with advance notice. The retreat portion of the package is non-refundable within 7 days of the event and holds no cash value if unused. Featured authors, schedule, and activities are subject to change. This package cannot be combined with other offers or discounts and is valid only for the November 6–7, 2026 retreat dates.
